Build Your Own Safety Culture in the CCA Library
All of us who sail and enjoy time on the water learn about good safety practices through our own on-water adventures and by hearing from others with more experience. The Cruising Club of America has developed a way to share knowledge among its members—all of whom have many bluewater sailing miles—with an online library where they’ve collectively written more than 150 seamanship and safety articles. Since the learning never stops, new articles are added on a regular basis.
Sharing knowledge with the larger community is also part of the Club’s mission, and ICOYC Member Clubs are welcome to share the CCA website safety page so your club members may explore topics such as handling emergencies, understanding and utilizing different electronics, or simply adopting good practices underway.
