For the sixth time in the 10-year history of the German Sailing League, Hamburg-based Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV) has won the German Sailing League title as best Sailing Club of the year in Germany.
After recently winning the German Sailing Champions League, they have achieved the “Double” and now there’s a real chance for the “Triple”!

“We are overjoyed that we now have the sixth star on our chest and have become champions again,” said Tobias Schadewaldt, today’s helmsman, after the last flight of the match day. “But for us the season is not over yet. After winning the Sailing Champions League, we want to get the “Triple” and also win the League Cup. We’re fired up for that!”
The NRV crew members are David Chapman/Tobias Schadewaldt, Daniel Reichart, Miklas Schaper and Hinnerk Müller.

At the final match day of the 2022 season on Lake Constance, the teams of the first and second division had to fight with very little wind and unsteady weather conditions. Runner-up for the first time in the club’s history is the Segel-und Motorbootclub Überlingen (SMCÜ – Sailing and Power Boat Club, Überlingen) ahead of the team from the Berlin-based ICOYC Member Club Verein Seglerhaus am Wannsee (VSaW).
The City of Hamburg: Strong in Sailing
For the first time in the history of the German Sailing League, the Women’s Team from HSC Hamburger Segel Club (Hamburg Sailing Club), stood at the top of the winner’s podium of a match day. They finished the season in 4th place overall.
Congratulations!
