SAGRADA FAMILIA – The Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia, known simply as the Sagrada Familia, is a Catholic basilica in Barcelona (Spain), designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí. Begun in 1882, it is still under construction. It is Gaudí’s masterpiece, and the greatest exponent of Catalan modernist architecture. It is one of the most visited monuments in Spain, together with the Prado Museum and the Alhambra in Granada, 1 and it is the most visited church in Europe after the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican. 2 When it is completed it will be the most visited Christian church high of the world Comida Casa Martinez. |

Taxi to and from the Airport
There is a taxi rank outside the terminal which will cost about 40€, depending on the amount of luggage and number of passengers
Registration
The Conference starts at 14.00 on Friday 7th October with an Opening Ceremony and you (partner included) are invited to a light lunch from 13.00 to 14.00 at the Club.
Registration for delegates and partners will be open from 10.00 On Friday 7th October at the Club.

Dress Code
The dress code in the Clubhouse is casual. On the first floor, it is compulsory to wear long trousers. For the dinner on Friday the dress code is “smart casual”. On Saturday night for the dinner we would ask gentlemen to wear Jackets and their Club tie.
Visiting Barcelona

Email receptionmanager@hduquesadecardona.com with your name and credit card details (card number, name on the card and expiry date), the number of nights required and the quote reference “ICOYC-RCN Barcelona”. There is no requirement to provide you card’s 3 digit (CVV/CSC) number.

The delegate room rates are Standard Interior 170€, Standard Exterior 190€ and De Luxe 200€ (including breakfast for 2 persons) per night for a double room (Taxes IVA included, tourist tax not included).
A few rooms have also been reserved for Tuesday night 5th October for delegates who are arriving the day before the Conference starts (different room rates may apply).
Please note that the rooms reserved at the Hotel Duquesa de Cardona for the nights of 6, 7 , 8 & 9 October can only be booked by e mail or phone and are not available on any “on line booking” system.
Please contact the hotel before the 15 September to reserve a room at these rates.
Cancellation policy: You can cancel the accommodation reservation up to 48 hours before without charge
